  • Overview

    A Fulfillment Operator will need the ability to perform tasks in receiving, testing, light assembly, packaging of materials and shipping functions for both Local and International customers. Work is performed in a warehouse setting, teamwork, good communication; general physical exertion, some heavy lifting, and work on computers are all daily activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Loading and unloading of material from containers and pallets
    • System transactions using multiple computer systems and programs
    • Counting and verification of material
    • Loading units onto test equipment
    • Data entry tasks created from counting, testing, assembly or shipping processes
    • Use of hand tools, power drivers, screw drivers, etc
    • Placing material into boxes or bags, labeling, assembling small products and inspecting goods for delivery to finished goods
    • Accurate picking, packing and shipping of orders to International customers.
    • Ensure shipping information, documentation, tracking numbers etc. are circulated to required team members in a timely and efficient manner for both National and International customers.
    • Scan stock in to & out of appropriate Warehouse Locations recording all stock movements
    • Coordinate and book freight forwarders as required to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
    • Stocking material correctly in the required areas, performing put always as material is moved into different locations
    • Responsible for ensuring proper material flow through the process and inventory levels are correct both physically and systematically
    • At times helping with daily cycle counts and physical inventory
    • Ensuring product is up to Control4’s quality standards
    • Ensuring to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
    • Use appropriate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales and fork lifts
    • Comply with safety procedures and general rules
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

     Minimum:

    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • At least 5 years' experience in a high volume fast paced warehouse environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
    • Demonstrated International shipping experience and knowledge
    • Experience with Warehouse ERP system, SAP B1 preferable
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Flexibility
    • Dependable and hardworking
    • Current reach folk lift license
    • Current driver license

    Preferred:

    • Attention to detail
    • Dexterity and physical stamina
    • Experience with RF scanners
    • Able to work with others in a positive team environment in close physically demanding settings
    • Lifting and movement of boxes up to 20kg on a regular basis
    • Familiarity and comfort of working not only with physical product but computers and multiple software tools
    • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to cross train
    • Use of Forklifts, pallet jacks and other fulfillment machinery
