  • Overview

    Responsible for owning the inventory process for on and off-site material, insuring Control4’s ERP systems are accurate, and off-cycle counts. Analysis is required through the system and physically when discrepancies are discovered. You will work with team individuals and leadership to resolve these discrepancies. Possible involvement in project management actives. Willingness to learn the fulfillment center to drive future success.

    Responsibilities

    • Run cycle count reports; unscheduled and scheduled
    • Manage all goods issues and receipts of material
    • Oversee/track transfers between warehouses
    • Provide back up and resource for PLM team
    • Owns the yearly physical inventory work with outside auditors and other departments inside Control4 as needed
    • Validate material and supplies in stock – finding discrepancies and knowing why
    • Process manufacturing scraps while making recommendations on way to reduce
    • Analyze/process obsolete material for disposal
    • Hold quarterly meetings with material owners and finance at the Draper location (may grow to include additional locations)
    • Support Fulfilment center leadership by driving day-to-day projects as needed
    • Create process improvements and provide input regarding inventory flow
    • Possible project management involvement

    Qualifications

    Minimum

    • Extensive knowledge of inventory control phases
    • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
    • Proven project management experience with
    • Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously
    • Thrive in a team environment
    • Being comfortable leading small teams
    • Desire to work both physical and systematic processes
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Strong communication skills and some leadership experience
    • Understanding of cycle counting process.

    Preferred

    • Knowledge of SAP Buisness1 programs is desirable.
    • Able to drive forklift or a desire to learn
    • knowledge of Excel with a desire for continued development
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related work experience
